''I will resume work on 3rd March not January 11th'' Domelevo clarifies.

The Auditor-General Daniel Yao Domelevo has clarified he will resume work on 3rd March 2021and not January 11th. This was after several reports circulating on social media and other print media indicating that his 167- day leave had expired. After a directive from the presidency in July 2020 to proceed on accumulated leave which was later extended by 44 days by the office of the president.

 Mr Domelevo wrote to the presidency for a reconsideration of the directive to proceed on accumulated leave and described the directive as breach of labour law and unconstitutional  

However, the news of Domelevo's return to office became the talk of town before he took his official Facebook account to clarify the actual date he will be resuming work. below is an excerpt of his post.
