Yoweri Museveni wins Ugandan polls in his quest for 6th term as president.
Incumbent president of republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has extended his reign to 35 years after winning the Ugandan polls.
According to reports emerging from the capital Kampala, which was reported by BBC Africa, Museveni secured 58.6% of the total valid votes whiles his opponent Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu poporlurly known as ''Bobi Wine'' who was at heart of almost all the young Ugandans to win had 34.8% of valid votes cast.
Museveni 73, who ascended the throne in 1983 has ruled the east African country for almost 4 decades with a totalitarian system of governance which some sections of Ugandans describe as primitive and outdated. Bobi wine on the other hand has indicated not to accept the outcome because the elections was flooded with anomalies and irregularities since Museveni has has absolute control and power over The Electoral Commission of Uganda.
