Man:37 stoned to death for stealing a cat

 Reports coming in from Jerusalem, a suburb of Tema newtown indicates that a 37 year old man, Abdullah Gedo has been stoned to death.

The victim is alleged to have stolen a cat with an accomplice who's currently on the run. According to an eye witness, (name withheld) some young men who are residents of the area grabbed the alleged suspect and started hitting him with concrete slabs which led to him bleeding profusely till he died.

The suspect was found dead in a pool of blood alongside with a dead cat around 4am Sunday 27th December, 2020.

A brother of the suspect, Alhassan hinted that the family of the deceased is yet to ascertain the incident whiles investigations are currently underway by the Ghana police service.

The body of the suspect has been deposited at the police hospital pending autopsy.
