OFFICIAL: Coutinho ruled out for the rest of the season

Brazilian star Phillips Coutinho has been ruled out of action for the rest the season. This was after the Catalan winger only came on to replace Miralem Pjanic in the dying minutes of la liga clash with  Eibar on Tuesday but couldn't complete the 90 minutes after picking a knee problem.The winger limped off as a result.
Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman confirmed after the Match that Coutinho had discomfort in his left knee and will need to run tests and scans.
Results of the tests and scans revealed that the "selecao" winger has injured the lateral meniscus in his left kknee and will require an anthroscopic surgery which is expected to be conducted by famous orthopaedic specialist Dr. Ramon Cugat in the coming days.
Coutinho adds to injury list which already has Ansu Fati,Sergi Roberto and Gerard Pique.
Coutinho has made 14 appearances for Barcelona this season, scoring three goals and creating two assists.
