31st December,2020 7:11pm Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has announced his retirement from international football. The Hellas Verona midfield power house took his Instagram handle to announce his retirement. The 30 year old gained a spot in the black starts after having an impressive stint with the Black satellites of Ghana during the FIFA U20 World Cup hosted by Egypt in 2009.Badu is keenly remembered by many Ghanaian football enthusiasts for scoring the the winning penalty which made the satellites world U20 champions after beating Brazil in the grand finale. Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu featured in 5 African Cup of Nations tournaments and 2 world cups and made 78 appearances for the Black starts of Ghana with 11 goals to his tally.
